Geauga Growth Partnership looking for high school interns

The Geauga Growth Partnership announces the 2013 program of paid summer internships for Geauga County high school students.

Eligibility is open to all seniors and juniors attending county high schools and residing in Geauga.

"We are delighted to offer these opportunities to Geauga students," said Lee Imhof, chairman of the Partnership's Internship Task Force. "These internships give our students real-world experience in the workplace and insight into employment opportunities in Geauga County. I especially want to thank the employers who have signed up to offer positions. We encourage more Geauga County employers to contact us about offering internship positions."

Interns are selected in a competitive process that begins with applications that are due Feb. 13.

Application forms and explanatory information are available from high school guidance counselors or from the GGP website, www.geaugagrowth.com. In addition to the application forms and supplemental information, interns will be interviewed by sponsoring employers.

Questions about the 2013 GGP Internship Program may be directed to Leslie Bednar at info@geaugagrowth.com or 440-564-1060.
