Bluestone Elementary Honors Local Heroes

Students from Bluestone Elementary in Euclid were asked the simple question, 'Who is your local hero?'
Students from all grades, K through 5, wrote essays describing their local hero.
Essays were judged and the two best essays from each grade received recognition at the Bluestone Elementary 15th Annual Local Heroes Program on Feb. 27.
Ten local heroes were invited to the program and the essays were read to honor those local heroes.
The program also had musical performances from Elegie and Bluestone Singers.
The essay winners this year were:

Kindergarten: Trinitee Taylor and Logan Price
First Grade: Cheyeanne Thomas and Antoine Spivey, Jr.
Second Grade: Daveion Sims and Kaitlin Tartar
Third Grade: Davon Armstrong Onjaniah Williams
Fourth Grade: Shyann Jacobs and Josiah Watts
Fifth Grade: De'Asia Huggins and Tylin King

This is a wonderful program that allows students to write about the person that makes a difference in their lives. Well done!
