Scholarships Offered: Americans of Italian Heritage offering awards to Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula, Cuyahoga students
The Americans of Italian Heritage and the Americans of Italian Heritage
Charities Inc. have announced the scholarship program available to
student residents of Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula and Cuyahoga counties. Four
scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded this year. Scholarships
will be awarded within three categories: Green, for a grade-point
average of 2.5 to 2.99; White, GPA of 3.0 to 3.5; Red, GPA of 3.5
At least one parent of the applicant must be of Italian descent, and the student applicant must be either a graduating high school senior or a full-time undergraduate student. The selection committee is seeking to award well-rounded students who can demonstrate their dedication and commitment to continuing their education and who are in financial need.
